Sacramento-Placerville Transportation Corridor Joint Powers Authority

The Sacramento-Placerville Transportation Corridor Joint Powers Authority is an agreement to provide for acquisition of Southern Pacific Transportation Company's Placerville Branch, to provide reciprocal use agreements for transportation and transportation preservation uses as may be decided by the agencies through the creation of the Joint Powers Authority.

Membership: One Director and one alternate Board of Supervisor. The Business of the Authority shall be conducted by a Board of Directors consisting of two directors appointed by each of the parties; these shall include two (2) currently serving County Supervisors representing the County of El Dorado, appointed by the Board of Supervisors.

Meetings: Sacramento-Placerville Transportation Corridor Joint Powers Authority meetings are held quarterly. Meetings are typically on the first Monday of the second month of the quarter at 9:30 a.m. at Folsom City Hall, which is located at 50 Natoma Street, Folsom CA. See their website for details.
